Attention is a moral act

Where you place attention becomes what you reward. And what you reward becomes who you are becoming.

We treat attention like a preference. In truth, it’s a vote.

Every time you give your gaze to the trivial, you train your mind to live there. Every time you refuse, you build a small spine.

Ask one clean question before you open anything:

Is this making me more capable, or merely more occupied?

Do not aim for purity. Aim for direction.
