The argument against drift

Drift is the default state. If you do not choose your days, they will be chosen for you—quietly, efficiently, and without your consent.

Drift is not a crisis. It’s an absence of a decision.

The calendar fills itself. The feed never ends. Meetings expand. Small indulgences multiply.

So make one decision each morning that will still matter at night:

  • a page written
  • a walk without a phone
  • a hard conversation handled cleanly
  • an hour of focused work protected

You don’t need a new identity. You need a daily refusal.
